Associate Editors are the backbone of YLD publications. They generate article ideas, use their networks to identify and recruit potential authors, liaise between YLD publications and authors, review and edit articles, and promote the publication through social media and in their community and network. Without dedicated and talented Associate Editors, TYL and After the Bar would not exist.
Become a Member of the YLD Editorial Board
Associate Editors must be comfortable performing the following:
- Recruiting authors and soliciting content
- Writing, editing, and proofreading articles and other communications
- Collaborating on print, digital, social media, and other multimedia
Applications for the Editorial Board are accepted every January and February. If you would like to apply for a position, please submit an application.
