Joshua is an associate at Paul Hastings LLP in the Financial Services - Investigations, Regulation, and Litigation group based in the firm’s Washington D.C. office. He previously worked for several major financial institutions that equipped him with the background and expertise to advise many bank and non-bank financial institutions, emerging companies such as fintechs, and retailers whose business operations include consumer and small business finance. Joshua is also a rising indigenous scholar from the Haliwa-Saponi Indian Tribe of North Carolina, where he remains actively involved in his Tribal community. In 2020, he was appointed by the Haliwa-Saponi Tribal Council to serve as the Tribe’s first legal counsel on a pro bono basis.
