Hon. Shane Vannatta is district court judge to the newly created Department 5 of the Fourth Judicial District in Montana. Judge Vannatta previously served as commissioner for the ABA Commission on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI). He is the first openly gay judge to serve in the state of Montana. Prior to assuming the bench, Judge Vannatta practiced for over 25 years with Worden Thane P.C. where he primarily focused on business law.
