Our 12 substantive committees are focused on different areas of dispute resolution. Every fall, the Section requests program proposals for our Spring Conference (keep an eye out on the home page for details). We also seek webinar program proposals on an ongoing basis – simply complete a proposal form and we’ll take the planning from there.

Our podcast, Resolutions: A Podcast About Dispute Resolution and Prevention, averages nearly 20,000 listeners a year. We are always seeking new interviewees.

Join a Competition as a Participant or Judge
We welcome law students to gain a greater understanding of the field by participating in our National Representation in Mediation Competition or our Boskey Essay Contest. We also welcome our more experienced members to act as judges in the competitions and provide valuable input to the next generation of DR professionals.

Published quarterly, Dispute Resolution Magazine is a timely resource of news and trends throughout the world in the field of dispute resolution. We are always seeking new content and authors.

The Section is led by a strong community of nearly 100 members in leadership roles, including Officers, Executive Committee Members, Council Members and Committee Co-Chairs. Active Section members have the opportunity to be elected and appointed to leadership positions.
