The purpose of this directory is to present a resource to help people find and select diverse neutrals. The directory features diverse neutrals that self-identify along the dimensions of race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and disability. The promotion of the directory fosters a concentration of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging that expands into cultivating visibility and selection of diverse neutrals.

The directory, compiled and published annually by the Women in Dispute Resolution (WIDR) Committee, advances the ABA’s call for the selection of diverse neutrals. It is searchable and includes contact information for regional chairs, who can assist with questions about finding a mediator or arbitrator in a particular jurisdiction.
