Seeking Volunteer Assistance

The ABA Death Penalty Representation Project works nation-wide to locate pro bono counsel for persons facing the death penalty. Its limited resources are dedicated to locating counsel for persons who are both on death row and unrepresented by counsel.

How we can help

If you or someone you know meets these criteria and would like the assistance of the Project, please send us a message that includes the prisoner's name; state where prisoner is incarcerated; and current case stage. Once you provide this information, we will review the case and let you know whether we are able to assist in locating volunteer counsel. NOTE: THE PROJECT CANNOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE AND DOES NOT ITSELF PROVIDE REPRESENTATION.
