Resolution Text:
BE IT RESOLVED, That the American Bar Association adopts "Guidelines for the Appointment and Performance of Counsel in Death Penalty Cases", dated December, 1988; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the AmericanBar Association recommends adoption of these Guidelines, subject to such exceptions as may be appropriate in the military, by entities providing counsel in death penalty cases.
